Guidelines:
- Avoid perishable, processed, high-sodium, and sugary foods
- Add Vitamin C with 100% real fruit juice boxes, cups, and sauce
- Boost protein with unsalted nuts, canned fish, chicken, and beans
- Choose whole grains such as dry pasta, cereal, and oats
- Get rich in fiber with boxed brown rice, canned veggies, and granola
Most-Needed Items:
- Peanut butter (to go size)
- Shelf stable 100% fruit juice
- Canned chicken and tuna
- Single serve macaroni and cheese
- Shelf stable milk (8 oz)
- Almonds
- Individual Fruit Cups (4 oz peaches, pears, mixed fruit)
