Summer is just around the corner, and we’re sure you’re excited about the warm weather, spending time outdoors, and enjoying activities with family and friends. However, COVID-19 cases are on the rise, and it’s important to enjoy summer in a safe, protective manner.
Here are tips on how to have a fun summer while protecting yourself—and others—from COVID-19.
Get vaccinated
If you haven’t already received your COVID-19 vaccination, please do so. These vaccines are important to fighting this pandemic, and they can help you avoid a hospital stay should you become infected. Vaccines could soon become available for kids under the age of 5, with a public debate scheduled for June 15.
Get boosted
A booster shot will provide an additional layer of protection from COVID-19. Boosters are available for everyone over age 5, and those 50 and over can get another booster.
Get masks and tests
Masks are still a great way to keep you and your loved ones safe. Consider wearing a mask whenever you’re in a large crowd or attending an indoor event, even if masks aren’t mandated.
Having rapid tests handy is a great way to protect yourself and others. You can get at-home rapid tests mailed to your house free by clicking here.
Stay safe this summer and you’re sure to have a great one.
